Everything was simply wonderful! Spent 9 nights here with my family, had a fabulous stay overall. The location was great, at a moderate distance from an ancient roman amphitheatre. The staff was wonderful and lovely, greatly enjoyed this place.

I want to express my gratitude for a fabulous stay. the staff are polite, and the hotel boasts an incredible location near the Coliseum, Piazza Venezia, and the Forum, along with bars and nearby attractions, as well as access to the metro and train station. the standard single room is brilliant and includes central heating, a work desk, and a TV.

The location is superb: it is within walking distance from the major tourists sites in Rome. There was a small accident with the cleaner and the staff did manage to sort this out eventually. The breakfast is in a restaurant nearby and is ok.
It was not clean. I had some bloodstains on my sheet (even though I could see it was washed) and the first night there was dust on the night table. When I came back the next day, the dust was gone, but one of my earrings (left on the table) was missing, the other one was on the floor. While I was checking the entire room I saw a lot of dirt under the bed. The initial reactions (yes, we had a couple of encounters) of the staff concerning the earrings was simply not appropriate. In the end we came to an agreement, but it was not easy and the quite a fight. The lobby, or how one may call it, stank of cigarette smoke (even though it was non-smoking) and other unidentifiable substances. The first day there was no breakfast because the employee didn't show up for work and we were ask to wait 30 minutes.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location.. and cheap
Mt bag was stolen from the hotel reception . I was leaving in the evening and when I was checking out the girl at recepetion sais it would be ok to leave the bag in the bad stand in the reception as I would be back at 2.30, bearing in mingd the hotel is closed from 1 o'clock and you do not have acess to the hotle unless you have a key When I came back at 2.30 ,My bag was gone the girl at reception had given me a key before I left so I could come back and collect my bag. I tried to contact the owner who owned the resturant around the corner .He eventually came over but really did not care untill I asked him to look at the cctv camera .THere ia poster on the wall in recetion stating there is a camera on . He would not let me look at it . I then told him I was going to the police,, My husband took a picture of the notice of the camera(he was staying in another hotel where they kept there bags and there bags were still there when they came back !! Ss we went o leave he ran after us and told us he would give me some money back if we did not go to the police I had to sign a letter to say I would not go and at the time I could only estimate the amount in the bag at about €500 I know realise there was much more. He would only give me €300 back and as we had to be in the airport we had no choice to but to take it . The lady in the hotel across the hotel had to translate to us.The owner really did not care untill I mentioned I was going to the police he got all hot and bothered

Good location and price. Friendly staff. Good value of money.
The building is very old and the lift is a bit strange, but it worked. Rome is one of the oldest cities of the world, so I would not mind these problems. But I feel that the double rooms are better than the triple rooms as I booked one double and one triple, I could compare.

Central location very close to the Colosseum and Forum. Working air-condition, which is important in Rome. Friendly staff who try their best, although they use the frase "I'm so sorry" a lot.
They did not accept credit cards. They take you to a nearby restaurant for payment, but the credit card machine had no connection. They blamed it on the rain... after trying to pay three times I had to get cash for payment. Got stuck in the elevator, never tried it again. The reception closes early in the evening. The door to the room was hard to lock, hard to unlock. It was a struggle to get in or out. I stayed on the "quiet" side of the hotel, facing the back. But a generator or something right outside my room made a lot of noise at all hours, day and night.
